At a support group for people who feel misfit and tokenized, one guy realizes he probably shouldn’t have come.

Alex Chew makes genre movies about misfits and antiheroes. Her screenplays have been shortlisted by AFF, Sundance, Nicholls, Cinestory, and more. In 2023 she co-founded Sequence 8, a writers-first production company dedicated to uplifting Austin’s independent film community.
